The comune of Castelnuovo del Garda is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda, in Verona province in the region of Veneto. The comune only has a short stretch of lakeshore - although there are three lovely lakeside resorts; however Castelnuovo del Garda is a well-known tourist destination of the Veneto Garda thanks to its strategic location, easily accessible to visitors from the Alps, and also the presence of the popular Gardaland amusement park.
