San Zeno di Montagna: information and advice

The comune of San Zeno di Montagna in the province of Verona is the ideal solution for tourists who choose the Veneto shore of Lake Garda for a holiday surrounded by nature, among picture-postcard views and opportunities for excursions on foot or by bicycle. Also known by the nickname Balcony of Lake Garda, San Zeno actually stands some 680 metres above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Baldo and within the Lessinia Regional Nature Reserve, in the perfect location for appreciating the fabulous views over Lake Garda. Very popular for camping holidays devoted to the pleasures of close contact with nature, every year San Zeno is the destination of trekking, mountain bike and rock climbing enthusiasts.

While the rugged slopes of Mount Baldo are valued by climbers and paragliders, those visitors wishing simply to enjoy the view and the tranquility of this corner of Veneto can rely on the convenience of the Monte Baldo Cableway. The town's proximity to the shores of Lake Garda also allows visitors to quickly reach the beaches and the lakefronts of nearby towns such as the charming Torri del Benaco or the typical villages of Brenzone sul Garda, Pai and Castelletto.
